[WEEK 4]
This is our fourth week of mini project assessment for noise pollution, at the same location which is at the Simpang Ampat Toll Station, Alor Gajah. For this week, we started at the exact time which was at 5.30pm and conducted the assessment for a usual time period of 1 hour. For this week, it is observed that the number of vehicles passed-by was lower than of our usual assessment for the recent 3 weeks. Not only that, the traffic was also slightly lighter than usual.

Overview
The data above shows the results for this weeks' assessment. First, the data L10 shows the noise level exceeded for 10% of the time of the measurement duration. This usually is to indicate the peak noise during that time period. For this 4th week, the L10 obtained was 70.9dB which was smaller than of week 3 with a difference of 8.8. This was due to number of vehicles passing by which was lower than in week 3. Next, L50 is used to indicate the level exceeded 50% of the time, statistically indicating noise at the mid-point of the noise reading (slightly above average for the area), which was recorded at 69.3dB. Compared to the week 3, the result differs by 0.9 which was maybe because of slightly lower traffic number in week 4 than the week before. After that, L90 is noise level that exceeded for 90% of the time, which generally represent the ambient or background noise of that area. The result for L90 was 68.5dB for week 4, which is less than week 3 with a difference of 9.2 which maybe because of more number of people stopping by the toll area for rest during that time period. After that, the value of Max dB for this week is 90.7dB, which makes a difference with third week by 9.1. Lastly, is the Leq which is actually the Sound Pressure Level in dB which is also known as average energy emitted throughout the time period at the toll station. So for the Leq the value was 70dB for the week, which make it less than week 3 with a difference of 7.4.
